Dharma is an instructor of both the Classical Hatha-Raja style and Kundalini Yoga, and encourages organic movement and an open heart as she routinely leads students through nurturing practices of pranayama/ breathwork, asana/physical postures, and dhyana/meditation.
Dharma hosts workshops, intensives, retreats and teacher trainings nationwide and in the Caribbean. Dharma’s studies continue with her beloved teacher Chandra Om, senior disciple of Sri Dharma Mittra, and HarDarshan Kaur Khalsa. Her certifications also include Kundalini, Core Strength Vinyasa, Judith Lasater’s Relax & Renew, Prenatal, Children’s, Yin, and Yoga Warriors (for PTS). Dharma is also a certified Reiki Master and continues studies in Thai Massage (Nuad Boran).

Focusing on basic yoga postures, stretching, flexibility and basic balance, this class introduces breath work and basic meditation skills. This class is for all levels wanting to come back to the basics of yoga to find their centering energy and self.
Preparing the entire body for practice, we begin by an invigorating, classical blend of Surya and Shiva Namaskar vinyasas to aid in bringing flexibility to the muscles and joints. We will follow up with a powerful series of balances, seated postures and stretches, back bends, twists and introduction to inversions. Practice will conclude with extended deep relaxation, breathing and meditation exercises, bringing a deep calm to body and mind.
This is a challenging, yet lighthearted class designed to detoxify and empower the mind, body and spirit. Power Flow is taught in a vinyasa style that focuses on linking breath with movement. The sequences and pace of this class are designed to build strength and endurance, and increase flexibility. Some basic yoga experience highly suggested.
Gentle By Candelight
Join us for a class in candelight. Incorporating gentle hatha-raja principles as we move through an asana practice incorportating breathwork, centering and stress relief from a long day. Leave revitalized and calm ready to settle for the night.
Qi Infused Yoga® is a happy medium between the two energy-focused yogas of Yin and Kundalini. Melding Qigong movements and yoga asana in a flowing vinyasa practice, Qi Infused Yoga® is a unique and innovative mind/body practice that is gentle yet energizing. Mudras, mantras, meditation, Qigong massage, may be included in the practice to enhance and balance the Qi and prana, the life-force energy.
